Do I need gym experience to train with Nathan?
No, you don't need any experience. Nathan specialises in beginners — most of his clients start from scratch. He'll walk you through every movement, explain the why behind each exercise, and build your confidence from day one.
What makes Nathan's approach different?
Nathan blends Jeff Nippard's science-based training philosophy with the relentless mindset work of David Goggins. That means programmes built on research — not Instagram trends — and a coach who'll push you through the hard sessions instead of letting you coast.
How long until I see results?
Most clients feel stronger within two to three weeks. Visible changes in muscle tone typically show around week six to eight, provided nutrition is dialled in. Nathan tracks every session so you know exactly what's working — no guessing, no hoping.
Where are sessions based?
All sessions run at PureGym Shiprow on Shiprow, Aberdeen (AB11 5BW) — central, well-equipped, and walking distance from the city centre. You'll need a PureGym membership to train there.
What if I've tried personal training before and it didn't work?
That's actually the perfect starting point. Nathan will ask what went wrong, what you enjoyed, and what you didn't — then build a completely different approach. The goal isn't another generic plan. It's your plan.
